Miners Alley Playhouse is proud to present such delightful live theater to the list of Denver events you can attend this year and we hope you will join us with your children or with your school, scouting, church, or other youth  group! In light of continued concerns about health and safety, we have decided to reschedule our current fall line-up of large cast, full musical productions to 2021.


And please know that we couldn’t do any of this without the undying support of our community of patrons and artists, the City of Golden, other great Golden organizations, such as The Golden Civic Foundation, and, of course, The SCFD. If safety permits, we may produce something for the holidays. All five of our children’s shows are based on classic stories that have been beloved for ages. With classes in Evergreen, Denver, Highlands Ranch, and Stapleton, Colorado Children's Theatre has been transforming the minds of our students since 2003.

Live from Miners Alley Playhouse: A Virtual Variety Fundraiser. Miners Alley Playhouse has decided to completely close the theatre through the end of the 2020 Season effective June 8, 2020 for the safety of our patrons, staff, actors, and crew, at which point we will re-evaluate and update you through our normal channels. Children's Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) organization. This season includes Hansel and Gretel, Rumplestiltskin, Mother Goose, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and The Story of the Nutcracker. This program allows patrons with financial barriers to purchase tickets to select performances at a greatly subsidized rate in addition to receiving scholarships to Theatre Arts Training Camps and Classes. Lap Passes are available for all shows that take place in the UnitedHealth Group Stage for children birth to 3 years old. Lap passes are a final sale. For productions in our Cargill Theatre, productions recommended for all ages will have a Lap Pass age of 18 months and under; productions recommended for children ages 8+ will not have lap passes available. We will be back in full force in January with a new, exciting and safe season of shows with small casts, designed to keep everyone safe.
