The toilets were clean and easy to find. Walk over the treetops canopy on the Illawarra Fly Park. There are coin-operated 'pay and display' machines - please bring correct coins. A scenic rural drive from Burradoo, along the Nowra Road, it is well worth a stop to see the beauty of the Falls. Visit the boutique villages of the region with their elegant shops. Parking lot is complete disaster, there was only one parking machine taking cards and it printed incorrect time on the slip. Overall set up of the Visitor centre/ Park is well set out and maintained. The centre offers meet and greet tours which can be tailored to suit your requirements; bookings required. Our morning tea in the cafe was very enjoyable.

An Eco-Tourism principal of involving local artists/craftspeople and small cottage industries of the Southern Highlands and South Coast Region to exhibit work at the centre, provides the visitor with the opportunity to enjoy and purchase local products including photography and ceramics that are displayed and changed monthly. Entry fee is $4, and is effectively a parking fee, with the voucher supposed to be left in view in your car. We stopped here to stretch our legs on our journey. The Waterfall itself was only a very short walk and was beautiful - it was flowing quite well the day we were there. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Experience the roar of the blowhole in Kiama. Overall set up of the Visitor centre/ Park is well set out and maintained. A great place to visit. Includes lavender products, locally made selection of jam, local honey, pottery, jewellery, Friends of the Brush tailed Rock wallaby merchandise to assist in supporting threatened species. Also, a wide range of quality Australian made products including Indigenous products (Murra Wolka Creations) hats, children’s t-shirts, linen tea-towels, wide range of reference and children books and gifts, hand crafted beeswax candles, Australian essential oils, soaps, Maxwell & Williams crockery featuring Australian birds, flowers and animals, and Branded NPWS products including reusable coffee cups and drink bottles. Not sure how often are they cleaned, may be once a week? An easy walk to the look outs.

Wish we had time to go right to the end as it was a lovely tropical atmosphere in there. Admire the towering Fitzroy Waterfalls, with its drop of more than 80 metres. Overall set up of the Visitor centre/ Park is well set out and maintained. The Salvage Spider which is a huge Orb Weaving Spider installed on the back wall of the VC, she is all made to scale, weighs 17 kg and took 8 hours to install.
I. would like to see more affordable things that could be gifts for family and friends or pen-pals overseas. Beautiful lookouts along the way but The Grotto was a magical place with a little grotto and waterfall that you would not expect to see.

All constructed from waste destined for landfill, covered in teddy bear material, then the stuffing was run through a spinning wheel to create 200m of web.

Well worth a visit if in the area, We visited the falls in July 2020.

Thankfully we stopped in here to check what trails are currently open in the region. Toilets were disgusting, parking lot - complete disaster. The west rim track is the nicer walk - path is better made, and has a few views of the falls.

If you are happy to walk some distance to and from your car on a busy day, you can pay by Eftpos in the shop, otherwise take coins for. It is a $4 parking fee, for entry to the Park, There is a great range of gifts and souvenirs in this centre… I left with a few bibs and bobs to remind me of my journey. Some of their stuff is pricey and I have to wonder why. Further to this , there is a café adjoining this so you can enjoy something to, The falls were in fine fettle today as we visited for the first time in 30 years… The visitor centre staff were friendly and helpful and we grabbed some good little books for the grandkids. The smell told you that you are approaching toilets. Our Southern Highlands Tours allow you to experience walking over the tops of the trees like a bird, driving on a road built out over the crashing sea below. Glad we walked further on to see this. The shop offers a wide variety of souvenirs. I know that I don't go out on a Saturday afternoon and feel the need to spend into the $100's on souvenirs.
