Documentation requirements seek to ensure that students and other SBS stakeholders have access to clear and accurate information about study programs, and provides clarity to the SBS partners with respect to the continuous maintenance of academic standards. At the individual level, teachers receive feedback on their teaching from pupils, their parents, head teachers or the supervisory authorities. At each level, ambitions are articulated, goals are identified, processes are established and assessments are made as to where improvements are needed: We are audited regularly by the following accreditation bodies: We gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data and distribute the information about improvements to all stakeholders. OAQ is a member of the ENQA[citation needed] and part of the founding members of ECA and listed by the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).

Pupils are assessed by teachers, or receive an individual determination of their current state of knowledge and skills based on self-assessment tests. The standard of education and international schools within Switzerland is considerably high, even when compared to the rest of Europe. A key instrument is the Swiss Education Report. In this context, they have jointly set up a national education monitoring process, which provides a basis for the observation and further development of the Swiss education system. Institutional level The Federal Constitution (article 61a) stipulates that the Confederation and the cantons have the task of ensuring high quality in the education system.
