There are blind tee shots and other tee shots where you are not sure of the correct line and this combined with the fast run-off and a 15-20mph crosswind made it very tricky; most courses make good use of directional marker posts and personally I feel that a few more would be beneficial to visting golfers at Hayling. Your warm, relaxed hospitality and the golf played in perfect.

The peninsular nature of the site means there are rarely 2 similar consecutive holes, the par 3's are interesting including the opening hole that was a 4 iron from the yellow tees with left to right wind when we played - tough start ! Respond to above review  Some of my favourite holes would be the 5th hole par 3, a par 3 with a very small and narrow green and a drop off all around it, you do not want to miss the green. Preferred lies in operation. the course is one which is needed to be played twice as there are many blind tee shots which makes driving a lottery first time being played. The well-groomed course sports lush green turf and a championship layout of water and woods. Adult: 7 day £550 / 5 day £450 The 10th is a fun drivable short par 4 with a narrow bunker less green….this is fun hole. It is a super course and I can't wait to play it again in the summer for the Hampshire amateur, lets hope the bad weather curse is over! The clubhouse which is impressive gives excellent views of the course and the proshop staff were very helpful on the day we visited. 9 holes £11.00 / 18 holes £15.00
