For our fourth book review, I decided to read a book called Midnight Fox by Betsy Byars. Would you also like to submit a review for this item?

For my homework I have to read The Midnight Fox I have to work with my partner (first he has to read the chapters then I have to read the chapters) but now my partner has the book so I can't read the book. You sat in a room all day by yourself and typed. It's hard to compete with form changing robots, spaceships shooting lasers, super heroes with powers from web spinning to cars that can take vertical climbs up the side of a building. But through quiet afternoons spent exploring the forest and fields, Tom becomes more aware of, and finally more comfortable, with the power and beauty of the natural world, and in the end acts to save a part of that world."--.

I thought this book was very entertaining as well as hooking because it was just decisions and situations that made readers feel like they were in the book.It also made them think if they were Tom and what decision they should make it kind of also made them feel guilty if they made the wrong decision.I thought that this book was really interesting because it shows how fast things can change and how fast people can change their minds because of one little thing. As a teacher, I have used this as part of my class 5's literacy work but unfortunately I found that the children did not engage with the story as well as I did. When Junior brings home the classroom hamster, Scooty, he decides to build the best hamster tunnel ever. “A great fast-paced action-packed series.” —Wired.com. I always put something of myself into my books -- something that happened to me. Tom hates having to spend the summer on a farm . As she began to read to her children, her interest in writing for young people began.Betsy lives with her husband Ed on an air strip in South Carolina. This is one of my favorite books from childhood. I loved the personality and humour of Tom's BFF - Petie Burkis and I also liked Tom's tendency to get side-tracked and talk about irrelevancies such as how he'd like to invent a new colour one day - unfortunately, my class did not appreciate either the humour or the irrelevancies and found it rather tedious. The outlandish stories the boy creates to explain why anything is a risk he just shouldn't take....As a kid, I thought it was a little silly.
