eadlyn and kile

Posted on October 8th, 2020

If you’re all caught up you know that this trilogy is (sadly) coming to an end and one of the greatest appeals for getting this novella was the sneak peak of the last book in the trilogy, The One. Eadlyn is a two-syllable name, pronounced Ead-Lyn. In The Heir, a new era dawned in the world of The Selection. And, as soon as she could walk, she'd turn her back on me and run to her brother. As with many dystopian series with a female lead there is a love triangle but what’s interesting is how Cass produces it.

They’re married and she’s queen and everything is right. Seriously, though, I really did enjoy this novel and highly recommend the whole Selection series if you haven’t read them yet. Eadlyn continues to experience highs and lows: She learns that the poor don’t think dissolving the caste system benefited them, and they want an end to the monarchy.

I literally sighed. Basically Eadlyn has a great developing relationship with Kile in the heir and all the way up until the middle of the crown. This new book (already being optioned for a movie) focuses on not only a young girl but a guy as well which is new for Oliver. I won’t be happy but I’d accept it. He said the absolute perfect thing to Eadlyn in the end that finally allowed her to follow her heart. Even though I know this is really the last book I hope Cass at least gives us a bonus epilogue or something like she did with The One. If you couldn’t tell I’m really in a Selection mood this week. Though we still don’t get all the answers about the clear corruption that is happening in the kingdom it does make you hate the King even more. I just found her to be spoiled and irritating. namecandy - Celebrity baby names, ask the Name Lady, & more.

If you can get this from the library I say borrow it. In this fourth romantic novel, follow Illéa’s royal family into a whole new Selection—and find out what happens after happily ever after. And infinitely more to me.”. Of all people I was most suspicious of him. I will say, however, that the ending didn’t satisfy me as much as I wanted it to.

There’s rebels everywhere and the society is based on a caste system that does well for those in the upper castes (1-4) but is terrible for those in the lower ones (5-8). He doesn’t have time for her nonsense and I appreciate that. Pre-order it now! Their love for each other knows no bounds and it means the world to me.

And I absolutely loved that Eadlyn decided to step up and be queen early just so her parents could be happy. Besides that America has finally realized that she loves Maxon and is now ready to fight for him. Fast forward to this newest book and the competition is down to only four ladies and rebels are getting even more rebellious. Now a days most dystopian novels come in the form of trilogies and it seems that Cass is following that tradition. On the other hand, I wouldn’t be mad if she ended up with Kile. Even Erik had gotten me a flower. She already knows (or at least thinks she knows) what love is and now she’s lost it but has to pretend she hasn’t because her relationship with Aspen also went against the rules of her society. Looking for the perfect name? There were so many wonderful scenes with them in this book and it just made me so happy because I knew it!! Eadlyn didn’t think she would find a real partner among the Selection’s thirty-five suitors, let alone true love. The greatest thing about this is the way Cass wrote it, it’s not as if Aspen lost America and settled for Lucy. My biggest issue with The Heir was Eadlyn, to be honest.

It’s definitely worth a read. He’s one of a kind. Twenty years ago, America Singer entered the Selection and won Prince Maxon’s heart. To put it simply, get this book and if you haven’t already, get all the books in this series. I couldn’t even remember what I was so worked up about when you first walked in.”, “You are always just Eadlyn. It was also interesting seeing America through Aspen’s eyes.

Also, the Aspen/America love scenes did make my heart swell and I forgot how much I first liked them together. The prince chooses his wife by going through the selection, a competition where 35 girls go to the castle to try and win the prince’s heart. Lastly, and this may be a little bit of a spoiler so if you don’t want to know I’d say stop here. She loves hard and won’t let anyone stand in her way when she makes up her mind about something (which can sometimes be a bad thing). However, the Selection has it’s ups and downs and Eadlyn’s not sure if she’s really helping or hurting her country. I ship it!

What happened to Kile after his elimination?

We have received nothing but positive feedback from younger generations. Which book character did Shailene Woodley play best? But, we have found that most older folks have a harder time with this name, my grandfather still calls my daughter "EDDLE-IN", and sometimes it gets mispronounced.

Sadly, I haven’t been able to keep up with my reading as much as I would like to since being in college.

Name MatchMaker to find the perfect baby name for you! Varient spellings: Edelin, Edelyn, Eadlin, Eadlynn, Edelynn. Instead it says, “Book Three of the Selection Series.” Wait, what? That just wouldn’t make sense.

He’s willing to put himself in harm’s way to protect others and really cares about his country and how he can make it better for all his castes. I loved this short story and it made me like Aspen a little bit more. Oh.

--------------------------------------------- I, Kile Woodwork, am in love. “Break the stupid rule, Eadlyn. I won’t say what happens in case you haven’t read the books (which, again, you really should) but what makes America stand out is she never went into the selection to become Queen. To see just where everywhere stands on the issue let’s vote on it.

4. I got this book at 12:40 AM this morning, started reading at noon and finished at 8 PM. I need to know what happens next and ASAP. I liked the idea but it seemed like Eadlyn came up with it on the spot and that just seemed so unlike her. In summary, it’s brilliant and I loved every part of this series and the long journey that got us to this end. Please read that and the Heir before you read this. 3. This trilogy had me hooked from book one when the ending left me with my jaw on the floor. His reasoning for not calling or coming back sooner after he heard about America was ridiculous. I’m still team Maxon but now I feel like I wouldn’t be completely angry if she ends up with Aspen. *This book is part of my POPSUGAR 2016 Reading Challenge.*. She didn’t even really want to be there in the first place. Except she doesn’t want it.

That being said I wasn’t too excited to read this, I really just bought it for the sneak peak. Amongst other things Cass presented an ending in which there’s hope for a better future but also doesn’t exactly say that everything is perfect and fixed, not in Illéa or in Maxon and America’s relationship. I LOVE ERIK (Eikkio)!!!

Even Ms. America Singer finds it rather difficult to resist his charm. And so the Selection begins and Eadlyn is introduced to 35 guys from throughout Illéa, including one much closer to home than she’d prefer, and finds herself actually considering these men as potential suitors. Honestly, I wasn’t mad at Ahern in The Heir but I was furious with him in this book. Kate Brian (also known as Kieran Scott) is a master at producing series and trilogies that are made to get you hooked. However, she did announce that she will be releasing a digital novella about Queen Amberly’s selection process, explaining once and for all how the heck she ended up with a jerk like King Clarkson.

I enjoyed it and I don’t regret buying it just because I know it would’ve been a long wait from the library and it was cheap. America even says it: That’s my favorite part of this novel and this series as a whole. Tagged book, eadlyn schreave, eikkio, erik, hale, henri, keadlyn, Kiera Cass, kile, princess eadlyn, the heir, the selection series Published by Zakiya N. What’s yours? Speaking of which, does America know? And although I knew Eadlyn shouldn’t trust Marid I’m still very upset that his parents, August and Georgia, turned out to be shady.

If I have to wait a year for this next book I think I’ll lose it. Did he go follow his passion and find a job in that field? Twenty years have passed since America Singer and Prince Maxon fell in love, and their daughter is the first princess to hold a Selection of her own. She wants to help her father, King Maxon, in anyway she can and this is the only way she knows how. Plus, I loved the other characters so much it made up for Eadlyn’s bad behavior. They’re engaged and I cried and it was beautiful and she loves him.

I was hoping for more from the epilogue and was disappointed that it was so short. If that’s the case then maybe you should wait. They’re ruining my life! But you guys chose the winner so I won’t argue.

But Daddy Maxon killed it for me. But there are a few problems that come with being in love with a princess.

Let’s begin. Kile Woodwork is the son of Marlee and Carter Woodwork.

Also, it was interesting to see so much behind the scenes things with the guards that we don’t see with America. It’s also strange because Kriss and America’s friendship/competition is clear from the beginning of the novel so you know that’s going to be a major part of the book which will be interesting. If I had to choose I’d go with The Heir but that’s just my personal opinion. I really liked her as Aimme in The Spectacular Now. Because Eadlyn’s not really in support of the idea she has some conditions, mainly if she doesn’t find love in three months she doesn’t have to choose anyone to marry but instead can go on her own way and be the independent Queen she wants to be. I won’t spoil the series for you but a brief synopsis of the series is it takes place in a Dystopian world where there are eight castes, one being the upper caste and eight being the lowest. Kile would have been a fantastic choice for Eadlyn but in the Heir when Kile showed her his sketches and told her about his passion that was when I decided I didn't really want him to win.

She recognizes that love isn’t easy. Until Brian comes out with her next series that is.
