Ulrike has over 11 years of B2B marketing experience, mainly in technology and across both & services. The breadth of Ulrike’s experience spans markets worldwide like the UK, Germany, India, USA, China, Singapore and Australia.

Tom has spent over 12 years as an infrastructure engineer, including building two bespoke platform as a service systems, one for government and one for a major online games company.

Jeremy has over 19 years of experience delivering valuable products to large enterprises like BT, Nokia, Bloomberg, Guggenheim, HMRC and GDS. He has worked in leadership roles across all disciplines of the development cycle from business analyst to quality assurance to development in both the Unites States and Europe.

Ben spent 6 years in the civil service writing policy and running teams. His last roles were as Lead Architect (Business Taxes) at HMRC and as a developer of the Tax Platform. He's also enjoyed crunching large genomic datasets at the Sanger Institute.

We’re looking for a creative, proactive and analytical Growth Marketer in Bahrain who is able to get stuck in and drive our customer acquisition. We have ambitious goals for the next 12 months and are looking for someone to drive and be part of that growth.

Your Role

  • Work with the Chief Commercial Officer to increase the growth of our customer base
  • Analysing market and customer trends, and forming a strategy to acquire users
  • Experimenting with growth techniques across channels, across PR, content, brand, social media, performance marketing, etc.
  • Analysing results, iterating and optimising on acquisition, conversion and retention
  • Working in a motivated, fast-paced and international team
  • Working closely with the founders and the technology team

You should be

  • Insanely creative, motivated, and excited to try new things

Lead Generation Specialist

We’re looking for a highly-motivated, proactive and driven self-starter who is able to get stuck in and drive our customer acquisition. You’ll be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support our sales team. This individual will be able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential!

Your role

  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce the drie solution and identify appropriate buyers within the target market
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Work with the CCO to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients within CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached
  • Prepare and analyse sales pipeline reports and dashboards

You should

  • Be fluent in Arabic and English
  • Have excellent client service skills
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have had an internship in sales or a similar role before

Python Web Developer

Job Summary

drie is a CloudFoundry and Heroku compatible platform as a service that runs your web services on your AWS infrastructure. Integrate with your GitHub account and deploy changes as quick as you can commit them. drie was built with security in mind to give organisations like banks, pharmaceuticals and government departments the agility of startups. We use serverless technology to spin up your development branches on demand making it quick and simple to collaborate on changes. drie's cloud native architecture makes it easy to horizontally scale a highly available production service. drie supports all the common languages developers are already using.

We are looking for a Python Web Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Your role

  • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Integration of data storage solutions {{may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.}}

You should be

  • An expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework {{such as Django, Flask, etc depending on your technology stack}}
  • Proficient knowledge of AWS
  • Familiar with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
  • Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
  • Able to understand the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture
  • Understanding server-side templating languages {{such as Jinja 2, Mako, etc depending on your technology stack}}
  • Understanding front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Understanding accessibility and security compliance {{depending on the specific project}}
  • Having a knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Familiar with event-driven programming in Python
  • Understanding the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
  • Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Having strong unit test and debugging skills
  • Having a proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such a s Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
